October is National Physical Therapy Month. So, What is PT?

Like so many other causes and professions, physical therapy has its own month to be recognized, and that month happens to be October. But what is physical therapy, and what can you expect when you enter a physical therapy office?

Jeff Kirchmyer, co-owner of ProActive Sports Rehab in Orchard Park and Hamburg along with fellow physical therapist Anthony Goode, offers the following explanation.

Jr. Sabres Return Home Monday Night vs. Orangeville Flyers

The Buffalo Junior Sabres' Ontario Junior Hockey League season is underway, and the team has enjoyed a successful start under head coach/GM Michael Peca, winning three of its first four games of the season.

The Jr. Sabres will be at home in the Northtown Center at Amherst for a Monday night game against the Orangeville Flyers, beginning at 7:30pm.

Tickets are just $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and senior citizens.

With the National Hockey League's lockout continuing and preseason games already cancelled, Peca encouraged fans needing a fix of high-level hockey to give the Jr. Sabres a try.
