Main Street Marketplace, West Seneca’s open-air farmers’ and food producers’ marketplace sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, is seeking several new vendors for its 16-week 2016 season. The market, held on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays from May 12 through Sept. 1.
“We are currently accepting applications and hope to attract a wide variety of new farmers and food producers,” said the market’s manager, Joe Kirchmyer. “While our emphasis remains on food products, we will consider other categories as long as they are local companies featuring hand-crafted or unique products. Our goal is to continue to provide a strong variety of products that will be of interest to a wide audience.”
