LANCASTER NY - After a New Year's Day fire destroyed the Depew Lancaster Boys and Girls Club, the community has come to the rescue.

They started raising the money needed to rebuild the club. A boot drive by local firefighters collected $18,000 in just three hours.

Saturday evening, the club will host a fundraiser at the St. Mary's High School Athletic Complex, on Laverack Avenue, in Lancaster.

Tickets are $25 and will be available at the the door. There will be food and entertainment. For information on the event, or to make a donation, call 716-683-6755.
