Fourth Annual Taste of East Aurora to Feature Numerous Eateries | Events
The fourth annual Taste of East Aurora, featuring restaurants and food-related businesses with ties to the Greater East Aurora community, returns from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on Main Street, from Olean Road to Riley Street.
“This is always a highly anticipated and well-attended event, and we expect a large crowd again this year,” said Gary Grote, executive director of the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce. “Our restaurants help make East Aurora a popular destination for both locals and tourists!”
Restaurants and businesses taking part in the event include American Grille, Arriba Tortilla, East Aurora Cooperative Market, Everything Pie, Iron Kettle, Mariah’s on Sixteen, Medici House/Theas, Old Orchard Inn, Pizza Del Aureo’s, Pizza Hut, Prima Oliva, Purrfect Tea, Red’s Hot Dogs, Rick’s on Main, Riley Street Station, The Roycroft Inn, Taste Bistro, Tony Rome’s Globe Hotel, Tops Friendly Markets and Village Kettlekorn. First-timers at the event include 42 North Brewing Co., 189 Public House and the Blue Eyed Baker.
Food and beverage items will be priced from $1 to $4 per serving. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Old Hippies from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Event sponsors include the East Aurora Bee, Tops Friendly Markets, First Niagara, Martyn Printing and Graphics, Bryant & Stratton, Elm Street Bakery and West Herr of East Aurora.
The village also welcomes the Bosom Buddies Walk to East Aurora on Sept. 12. The walk, which begins at the Healthy Zone Rink, 41 Riley St., at 10 a.m., is a celebration of patients and families in the community who have been affected by breast cancer.
