West Seneca’s new Main Street Marketplace, sponsored by the Western New York Federal Credit Union, returns from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31. The farmers’ and food producers’ market features nearly 30 vendors and local entertainment Thursday evenings through Sept. 4.

The event takes place on the grassy hill at the corner of Union Road and Main Street, next to West Seneca Town Hall. In the event of extremely wet conditions, the market will move within the park, into the parking lot immediately in front of the West Seneca Ice Rink.

Weather permitting, week 11 entertainment will feature music by Kate Truslow and Tim Weir from approximately 5:30 to 7 p.m. Enjoy The Journey Art Gallery and the West Seneca Public Library will occupy the market’s community tables on July 31. Guests who stop by the Enjoy The Journey table can enter to win a set of painted wine glasses with a matching cheese dish. The gallery will also be providing information on its upcoming classes, Art Mart event and scholarship program.

Guests of the market are invited to bring a blanket or chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a leash. Picnic tables are also available at the market.
