Jr. Sabres say "Thank You!" for Teddy Bear Toss success

Jr. Sabres say "Thank You!" for Teddy Bear Toss success

The Buffalo Junior Sabres wish to extend their deepest gratitude to fans who came out on Monday, December 19 and tossed teddy bears and other stuffed animals on the ice following the team's first goal.  More than 100 bears were collected in the team's inaugural Teddy Bear Toss and were donated to the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association.

The Alumni, in turn, will turn these toys over for distribution on the morning of Christmas Eve by Sabres alumnus and broadcaster Rob Ray, who along with Buffalo Police visits several underpriveleged families that day.

As a junior-A level hockey club oeprated by Sabres Alumni, the Buffalo Junior Sabres are pleased to assist the Alumni's charity efforts this holiday season and acknowledge the support of their fans for making this possible.

Help Spread Holiday Cheer to Local Soldiers for Free

Help Spread Holiday Cheer to Local Soldiers for Free

All across the globe, families are preparing for Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa celebrations, but for our troops the holiday season is not as bright.

Many of our bravest men and women will be spending the holidays overseas or at various military bases across the country without the comforts of home and will have just a few cards from their family to brighten their day, but one website is working to spread the holiday cheer on a broader level.

DVIDSHub.net is a website designed to help keep the public and troops connected with each other through broadcast, print and digital communication.  That digital component includes the functionality for sending free holiday e-cards year-round.
