FUNraiser Aims to Fight Brain Cancer

The C4 Foundation – Colin’s Crusade against Childhood Cancer – will hold a FUNraiser with Paint & Sip Drinkable Arts from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2692 Club, 4569 Broadway, Depew.


Admission will be $50 per person presale, which includes a choice of glassware to paint and take home, one sheet of basket raffle tickets, wine, beer, coffee, soft drinks and food. Admission for those not planning to paint a glass will be $25.

The $25 tickets will be available at the door, on the C4 website at www.theC4foundation.org and at Nickel Creek Café, 4717 Clinton St., West Seneca. The event is limited to 200 people.


Basket raffle tickets will be available for one sheet for $5, three sheets for $10 or seven sheet for $20. A Barrel of Booze also will be raffled for $5 per ticket, and a 50/50 split will be available for seven tickets for $5 or 15 tickets for $10. Drawings will begin at 4 p.m., and attendees must be present to win.


The C4 Foundation is a non-profit organization created to promote awareness about childhood cancer and to raise money for children suffering from cancer and their families. The group is named in memory of Colin M. Wegner, who was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a childhood brain cancer, at age 17 and who lost his battle in 2013.
