County Clerk Commends Troop 352 Recently Awarded Boy Scouts

Erie County, NY- Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Boy Scout Troop 352 in Lancaster where he presented Matthew Tichy, Colin Dunkle and Nathaniel Watt with Proclamations of Congratulations for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

“I am proud to be here to honor and recognize these young men,” County Clerk Jacobs. “The Eagle Scout Award is recognized around the world as a mark of excellence. I commend them on accomplishing this significant achievement.”

In addition to the community service projects that each of these scouts completed, they had to earn a minimum of 21 merit badges and demonstrate leadership skills. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor that a Boy Scout can achieve and is reached by only four percent of all Boy Scouts.
