Bill to Create Green Jobs, Revitalize WNY Economy

Bill to Create Green Jobs, Revitalize WNY Economy

Assemblymember Gabryszak: Bill would help create new green jobs and revitalize WNY’s economic development

Assemblymember Dennis H. Gabryszak (D-Cheektowaga) announced the Assembly passed a bill he authored that would create the New York State Innovative Energy and Environmental Technology Program, an initiative that would provide capital grants to small businesses to encourage and support the growth of innovative energy and environmental technology (A.5149-B).

“The success and development of innovative energy and environmental technology-oriented businesses is essential to building our economy right here in Western New York,” Assemblymember Gabryszak said. “By providing financial assistance to companies working to create good-paying jobs in green technology, we can attract more businesses to our region, and in turn help boost our local economy.”
