West Seneca Student Artwork Showcased at Albright-Knox

West Seneca Student Artwork Showcased at Albright-Knox

Selected work of students from all 13 West Seneca Central schools will be on display  through April 15 in “Artworks: Inside the Knox” in the Educational Wing of the Gallery, 1285 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.

An opening reception in honor of student artists from the West Seneca Central School District will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

West Seneca Central is the only school district to participate in this type of show at Albright-Knox. Last year, Seymour Knox IV even visited Northwood Elementary in West Seneca to thank art students for their efforts in creating pieces for this annual show.

Approximately 325 students from kindergarten through grade 12 will have their art displayed in the showcase.

There is a fee for parking at Albright-Knox, but free parking is available on nearby city streets. There is no admission charge for the show’s reception.
